Jörn Wittmann
Jörn Wittmann is Senior Director Public Policy & Legislative Strategy at Volkswagen AG. In his role, among other topics, he is responsible for regulatory aspects related to data protection and the implementation of modern regulatory tools such as privacy Codes of Conduct. Jörn Wittmann is a jurist and certified data protection officer. Before joining Volkswagen AG, he was the Managing Director of SCOPE Europe, a Brussels-based monitoring body for Codes of Conduct, and the Managing Director of its holding SRIW (Self-Regulation Information Economy), a German non-profit organization. He started his career at the University of Göttingen, Germany, in the Department of Civil Law, Commercial and Economic Law, Comparative Law, Multimedia- and Telecommunication Law.
