Navigating the Maze: The Role of the EDPB in a World of Regulatory Overlaps
In this keynote, Ms. Foglia will explore the role of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) in shaping today’s digital regulatory landscape. She will discuss the tools through which the EDPB delivers its mission of ensuring a consistent application of the GDPR along with its initiatives to foster cross-regulatory cooperation and clarify the interplay between the GDPR and other legislation, in the aftermath of its 2025 Helsinki Statement. She will also highlight the EDPB’s current and upcoming strategic priorities, including its stance on the Digital Omnibus.
