Carolin Loy

Carolin Loy studied law at the University of Erlangen and worked previously as a lawyer in civil law. 

She has been a member of the Bavarian Data Protection Authority for the Private Sector (BavarianDPA) since April 2020. She is responsible for the topics ePrivacy, Internet and Digital Services. 

Since September 2022 she is also head of the staff unit for European Cooperation and since April 2024, she is working as press and public relations officer for the Bavarian DPA.
