Catherine Günthner is the Data Protection & AI Trust Officer for the Allianz in Germany entities and Deputy Group Chief Privacy & AI Trust Officer at Allianz SE. Prior to this, she worked in various privacy roles at Allianz Deutschland AG and Allianz SE. She began her career at Baker & McKenzie, specializing in data protection and IT law, before moving to UniCredit Bank in a compliance role. She studied law at the University of Munich (Germany) and the University of Salamanca (Spain) and is admitted to the bar in Germany as a lawyer. Born and raised in Canada, the USA and Germany and fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.
