Next-generation privacy – 360° data protection

Since Bitkom’s last Privacy Conference in October 2024, the regulatory landscape has continued to evolve rapidly. From ongoing discussions about the future of the GDPR – does it need an update, and what should that look like? – to the introduction of new digital regulations such as the AI Act and the Data Act, businesses of all sizes must navigate an increasingly complex set of rules. At the same time, technologies like cloud computing and artificial intelligence are transforming the way data is processed, stored, and shared. The challenges are significant – but so are the opportunities.

On 10 & 11 September 2025, privacy experts from data protection authorities, international companies, and innovative startups will gather at Bitkom’s Privacy Conference in Berlin. Building on our 360° approach, #pco25 will tackle the most pressing data protection issues of the year.

The first conference day on 10 September will take place exclusively on-site at the Futurium in Berlin and focus on the German perspective, while the second day on 11 September will offer international insights and be available via livestream only.

With keynotes, workshops, and panel discussions, leading experts will present best practices, real-world examples, and forward-looking strategies for data-driven business models – all under one roof.

Whether you're a large enterprise, an SME, or a start-up, #pco25 offers the knowledge, connections, and practical solutions you need to stay compliant, build trust, and unlock the full potential of data – in 2025 and beyond.
